Badkhal Lake  is a natural lake situated in Badkhal village in Faridabad. It is about 32 kilometers away from Delhi. It is hemmed in  Aravali Mountains. It is an Biodiversity  area within the Aravali Range starting from sariska Tiger Reserve to Delhi.It was built in 1947. HISTORY OF BADKHAL LAKE : This Lake was once a picturesque spot and a popular place for tourists. It was also a habitat for migratory birds and animals. HOW I CELEBRATED DUSHHERA             October is one of   my   favourite months as there are a lot of festivals which come in series. After Navratri, it was time for Dushhera ! Dushera marks the victory of good over evil. Dushhera is a festival celebrated on the 10 th day after the nine days of Navratri. An statue of Ravana is made and set on fire. The celebrations of Dushera started from the morning itself. Special delicacies were made which were accompanied by sweets. In the evening, the preparations to make Ravana started.
